BACK TO SCHOOL

BACK TO SCHOOL

And just like that, my oldest is about to embark on her school journey. I’m a little in denial that I have a daughter old enough to be in school, but very excited to see her independent personality grow even more in this next year. Back to school shopping was always a core memory for me, I loved nothing more than being able to add some new staples to my closet to be able to put a whole new twist on my outfits. I give credit to my mom for giving me my love for shopping. :) Although Zara is still pretty young, let me tell you, the girl loves clothes and it is so fun to be able to share that same passion with her, and I am here for it! Cannot wait for all the shopping trips in our future. Overbuying and over consumption is too easy, especially with having ittle girls in the house, but we are really trying to stick to minimalism when it comes to our home, just keeping life simple. That doesn’t mean the wardrobe doesn’t have to be fun, just has to be versatile and able to mix and match. This has something that I have grown to love and it really pushes my creative side and I love that.

Girls back to school shopping list

  • 3 jeans

  • 3 pants/leggings

  • 3 tees

  • 2 dresses

  • 2 sweatshirts

  • 3 sweaters/cardigans

  • 1 Pair of runners and 1 fall boot

These are a few of the options that I bought for the girls. All of these pieces have multiple outfit options which makes it really easy to be an outfit repeater without feeling like you are wearing the same thing all of the time. HM is a great affordable option with the cutest forward fashion for kids. One of my favorite places to shop for my girls!
